JFK’s on-airport garages charge up to $80 per day at the walk-up rate, which is about $560 for a week, or roughly $252 if you pre-book. The cheaper on-airport option, Economy Lot 9 off Lefferts Boulevard, runs about $203 for seven days, and the AirTrain from there to your terminal is free. So the gap on parking alone is narrower than it first looks. What that comparison leaves out is the driving itself. The Van Wyck twice, the fuel, and the 11 p.m. return leg after a long-haul flight.
